In line with “Memorandum of Cooperation between Fukushima Prefecture and the International Atomic Energy Agency“signed in December, 2012, we have implemented the cooperative project such as study on radiation and decontamination etc. for 10 years from 2013 to 2022.

　In December, 2022, we determined that the term of validity should be extended for 5 years up to December 2027. In addition to asking for continuous support in the fields of environmental recovery, decontamination waste and radiation monitoring that have been provided so far, we have been distributing the study results to date through provision of lectures by IAEA staff members intended for the university students in Fukushima who will newly shoulder responsibilities for the future.
